Meet the Owners!
Our names are Shawn and Teresa Allen and we are the owners of Allen Acres Farm and Co. Resort, located in Canton, Texas. We are native Texans with a background in real estate.
We moved to Canton from Little Elm, Texas intending to settle down for a peaceful country life, but when we uncovered the beauty of our forest, we knew we had to share it with the world! Our vision for Allen Acres is to create unique lodging for a truly special experience. The historical presence, rolling hills, and beautiful trees have set the tone for much R&R.

Annie Oakley
"*Woof! Woof!* My name is Annie Oakley and I am a Great Pyrenees. I like to roam the land to keep our guests safe and scare away unwanted visitors! I love meeting new people and sunbathing.”
Feathered Friends
Our feathered friends all have different names but they will all answer to "Mamacitas"! We have 2 roosters (not aggressive) named Rulio and Speedy G.
All of our feathered friends are free range and will occasionally fly over the fencing, so don't be alarmed if you see a chicken on the loose! They provide your fresh, free-range organic eggs, you will find complimentaryeggs in your cabin fridge upon arrival as a thank-you.
